STRESS RELIEF

Stress is a very common epidemic in our society today. With all the demands we face daily, it is easy to slip into the stress bubble.Stress is not good mentally, physically, emotionally or any other areas of our lives for that matter and definitely detrimental to our health. With that being said how can we deal with the stresses/stressors in our lives?  what tips/solutions can you offer from your experience ? please feel free to share and be as concise or elaborate as you like.. thanks

  1. The saying "slow down and smell the roses" comes to my mind here. In our ever increasing fast paced world, we need to make out time to relax and "Chill out" completely.

    Nothing like "me time". Unplugging (phone, internet, etc) from the world for a day or two can go very long way in recharging oneself. A good book and breakfast in bed should get you started.

  2. Stress is one of life's inevitable. It may not be totally eliminated but it can be minimized. One major thing I think about when I hear the word "stress" is PRIORITIZE!!! Prioritizing things we have to do can go a long way in minimizing stressor. Most importantly, not over stretching oneself to do EVERYTHING!!! Take things one day at a time and remember your sanity is worth more than anything in life!!!
